About me

My name is Daniela Cabrera. I hold a degree in Sociocultural Management for Development from my home country of Cuba. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have gained valuable experience working with individuals, families, groups, and communities. My work has centered on the development and implementation of sociocultural and community-based projects aimed at empowering women, promoting equality, and providing support to vulnerable populations. A guiding principle of my professional practice is to highlight and preserve culture and identity as fundamental expressions of human freedom and individuality.

I am currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at Ana G. Méndez University and serving as a student intern at Inneglow Therapy Center.

I strongly believe in the inherent value of every individual, in their unique qualities, resilience, and capacity for growth. I recognize that each person carries within themselves a source of inner strength that may not always be fully realized but can be cultivated in the face of adversity. Our personal histories, whether marked by positive or challenging experiences, shape our perspectives and ways of living. While difficult events can disrupt our paths, they also provide opportunities to build resilience, courage, and new skills. I hold the conviction that these experiences, though painful, can ultimately empower us to rise again, pursue our goals, and move toward fulfillment and meaning in life.
