About me

Hi, I’m Lisbeth. I have a background in law, which has given me the opportunity to work with many different people and to see firsthand how important support, guidance, and access to resources can be during difficult moments. Over time, I found myself especially drawn to the human side of the work—helping individuals and families navigate challenges, resolve conflicts, and connect with resources that could make a meaningful difference in their lives. Those experiences played a big part in leading me toward social work.

I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Social Work at Ana G. Méndez University and completing my student internship at Innerglow Therapy. The more I learn about social work, the more connected I feel to the profession and its focus on supporting people through different stages of life.

What I value most is being able to help people recognize their own strengths, understand their experiences, and see that they already have abilities and resources they can build on. I believe people are capable of growth, change, and resilience, even when life feels difficult.

As I continue this journey, I hope to grow into a compassionate and culturally responsive social worker who helps people feel supported, respected, and more confident in their ability to move forward.
