About me

Hi, I’m Andrea Romero. My professional journey has always been centered around people, their stories, and the strength they carry within them.

For more than ten years, I have worked with diverse communities, with a special focus on supporting women through empowerment, leadership, and recovery from domestic violence. Over the years, I have also had the opportunity to support immigrant families, survivors of human trafficking, individuals impacted by trauma, and children involved in the foster care system.

These experiences have shaped the way I see people and the way I understand healing. I believe that every person deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported without judgment. I also believe that each person is the author of their own story and already carries strengths that can help them move forward.

I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work at Ana G. Méndez University because I want to continue developing the skills to support individuals in a deeper and more meaningful way. I am especially drawn to a humanistic and holistic approach to care—one that recognizes the connection between emotional health, the body, relationships, nutrition, movement, creativity, rest, and the environment around us.

I value human dignity, self-determination, social justice, and the importance of creating spaces where people feel safe enough to explore who they are, what they have experienced, and what they want for their lives.

As someone who deeply appreciates different cultures, perspectives, and life experiences, I approach each person with curiosity, respect, and openness. My goal is to offer a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where individuals can reconnect with their strengths, build confidence, and move toward greater well-being.

I do not believe that strength is something someone gives you. I believe it already exists within you. Sometimes, we simply need the right support and space to recognize it, develop it, and begin using it in a way that helps us create the life we want.
