About me

I am a compassionate therapist committed to helping my patients become the best authentic version of themselves and owning their story. My work focuses on being client-centered and solution-focused while addressing various factors including dealing with difficult emotions, stress, relationship issues, parenting, family conflict, addictions (eating disorders and/or substance misuse), depression, anxiety, grief, ADHD, low self-esteem, women’s issues, trauma, behavioral concerns, and other mood disorders. I enjoy working with teens and adults. I believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship and provide a safe space where my patients feel supported, connected, and heard. As well as motivated to work toward their goals.

I graduated from The University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I received my Masters in Social Work (with an advanced clinical focus) from Saint Leo University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have over 10 years of clinical experience serving children, teens, adults, and families in a variety of settings including Community Mental Health and School Social Work. I am also a certified yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance.

My strengths include incorporating a holistic mind-body approach with yoga, meditation, and mindfulness (when appropriate). I blend these into the sessions when asked and needed to promote a more mind/body balance. I also am very empathetic and non-judgmental and easy to talk with. I provide a calm, accepting, and safe place to help you along your journey.

I am a big proponent of self-care, and love spending time in nature, at the beach, reading, traveling, doing yoga, meditation, journaling, aromatherapy, and being in my garden. I am a wife, mother, sister, and friend, and bring my own unique personal and professional skills to the therapy process.

“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we’ll ever do.”
