About me

Hello, my name is Wilmarys Negrón Rivera. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and like many migrants, I came to the United States in search of opportunity and stability. Throughout this transition, my personal life experiences strengthened my resilience and sparked a deep commitment to supporting others through their own personal journeys.

I am currently completing my final semester of a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, with the goal of helping individuals gain self-awareness, understanding, and personal growth.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and have several years of professional experience in the healthcare field. It was during this time that I recognized the significant unmet needs within the older adult population—a group I am deeply passionate about serving. I believe older adults possess a wealth of life experience and wisdom that deserves to be honored and supported.

At the same time, I firmly believe that every person, regardless of age, holds inherent value and potential. This belief ultimately led me to pursue advanced training in Clinical Social Work.

Drawing from both personal and professional experience, I strive to offer meaningful support in today’s fast-paced and demanding world—one where individuals often lack the tools needed to fully understand themselves and move forward.

From a compassionate and realistic perspective, I provide a safe and supportive space where we can work together to build resilience, foster self-sufficiency, and promote empowerment.
