About me
As a clinical mental health student intern, I’m excited to join a team of fabulous women who genuinely seek to empower and to be empowered. My background has mainly focused on supporting neurodivergent adolescents and their families.
As a guide, I’ve walked alongside a neurodiversity of clients through educational and supportive sessions to nurture understanding and connection. My focus has been to help families navigate social and academic challenges as well as develop healthy coping and self-care strategies.
With over 15 years of experience as an educator, I’ve implemented individualized education plans and accommodations with a commitment to creating inclusive learning environments. I’ve collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to address diverse needs and promote positive outcomes.
Every human being has a story to tell, and I believe that each person is an expert in their own lives. So, I value a narrative approach as a curious learner. I’m looking forward to learning and growing with my colleagues and my patients!
Outside of the office, I enjoy nature walks and paddleboarding. Yoga and sound healing help me stay grounded and balanced. And, of course, quality time with my two teenagers is priceless. We love sci-fi dramas, gaming tournaments and raising geckos 🙂
